Description:

Minesweeper is a captivating single-player puzzle game that will put your logic and deduction skills to the test. The objective is to clear a rectangular board filled with hidden "mines" without detonating any of them. Each field on the board provides valuable clues about the number of neighboring mines, aiding you in your quest for the safe squares.

Your goal is to uncover all the squares that are mine-free without accidentally clicking on a square that conceals a lurking mine underneath. Through careful reasoning and analysis, you'll gradually uncover the location of the mines while carefully navigating the board. A simple left-click reveals what lies beneath your chosen square or squares, allowing you to explore multiple blank squares if they are adjacent.

Some squares hold numbers from 1 to 8, which indicate the number of mines surrounding that specific square. Using this crucial information, you'll strategically flag suspected mine locations with a right-click, minimizing the chance of accidentally hitting one. The game is successfully won when all blank squares have been uncovered without setting off any mines. Any remaining mines that were not identified by flags will be automatically flagged by the computer.

In the unfortunate event that you lose the game and mistakenly flag a square that is actually safe, it will be clearly indicated with either a red X covering the mine or just a red X alone to denote its safety. The game offers three preset board sizes: beginner, intermediate, and expert. Moreover, a custom option allows you to tailor the game board to your desired challenge level.
